Managing Difficult Conversations Training

We have developed a very effective and highly-rated one or two day training programmes to help managers tackle those difficult conversations about levels of performance and or unhelpful conduct.

Our training helps people to understand the fears and concerns that often lead them to avoid such conversations. We go to equip them with new ways of thinking and acting so they can proactively and constructively manage difficult conversations of all types.

·      Our one-day programme supports managers and leaders to:

·      Understand what holds them back from difficult conversations

·      Understand what happens to our thinking and feelings in difficult circumstances

·      Transform our whole thinking process towards such conversations

·      Develop some core skills to manage towards positive solutions

·      Use a purposeful conversation structure to deliver results

·      Identify what to do next if an initial conversations does not deliver the desired change

·      Recognise how to follow-up conversations and manage progress

Our two-day programme adds the use of practical role play sessions, using professional business actors, with developmental and motivational feedback – enabling participants to put their learning into action in realistic and challenging scenarios.
